Is It Right to Celebrate Our Prophet's Birthday?

In our country there are a lot of people celebrate Rosululloh’s birthday. Some of them do this celebration because they don’t know the right one

As a good moslem, we must have ‘ilmu before doing amal

It’s bid’ah to celebrate of prophet Muhammad birthday

As a moslem, we have to do all of things in our life based on Qur’an n Sunnah as understood of salafus salih

"Say (O Muhammad SAW to mankind): "If you (really) love Allah then follow me (i.e. accept Islamic Monotheism, follow the Quran and the Sunnah), Allah will love you and forgive you of your sins. And Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful."

Rosululloh said “The most truthful of speech is the Book of Allaah and the best of guidance  is  the  guidance  of  Muhammad,  and  the  most  evil  of things are those which are newly-invented.”

There are two requirements in amal : 1^st is ikhlas, 2^nd is ittaba’ur rosul

It’s forbidden to celebrate Rosululloh birthday because it’s not in Qur’an and Sunnah. There are no salafus salih who celebrate it. It’s a bid’ah and forbidden

Rosululloh said “I urge you to follow my Sunnah and the way of the rightly-guided khaleefahs after me; adhere to it and cling to it firmly. Beware of newly-invented  things,  for  every  newly-invented  thing  is  an innovation  (Bid‘ah) and  every  innovation  is  a  going-astray.”

The celebration of Rosululloh birthday is like christian. They celebrate the jesus birthday

Rosululloh said “Whoever  imitates  a  people  is  one  of  them”
